New reggae festival in the North of our country on the beach of the Schildmeer (lake), about 20 km from the city of Groningen. Free entrance!!

Car: On N33 take exit Siddeburen - Steendam, in direction of Steendam.
Train - Bus: From Groningen Central Station you take the stoptrain to Appingedam. From there there will be shuttle-bussen (for 1!) taking you directly to the Schildmeer.

Jah Storm (Jamaica/Holland)
Jah Storm is a young international reggae and dancehall backing band with a pure Jamaican sound. Based in the Netherlands, they work with different National and International songers like Kenny B, Strawl, Dredda Youthz, Stando Ranks, Kendread and Anthony Locks.

Black Prophet (Ghana)
Black Prophet is a very talented singer from Ghana. His reggae background combined with African elements gives a very unique sound. He came to Europe for the first time in 2003 on invitation by Black Star Foundation. He stayed in Europe for many years, working with his own band Thunder Strike. Now he is back with a brand new album!
 

 
Smiley (The Netherlands)
Smiley was born in Aruba en he has been into music since 1997. In 2000 he came to Holland, where he worked together with Out of Many and other. Nowadays he has his own band.
 

 
I Repeat (The Netherlands)
The lead singer of the Dutch reggae band Beef, Pieter Both, is also known as I Repeat (or Irie Pete!). Besides Beef, he is also doing projects with other (reggae)bands.
 

 
Ziggi Recado (The Netherlands)
For many years Ziggi Recado is doing great work in the Netherlands. In 2006 he released his debut album So Much Reasons and in 2007 he toured Europe as the official support act for Gentleman. Ziggi is still one of the top reggae acts from Holland.
