The Congos (Jamaica)
From the aerly 70-ties The Congos were very important for roots reggae music. Their most famous album is 'Heart of the Congos', which they recorded with Lee 'Scratch' Perry. Spiritual reggae music with harmonies on the higest level.
 

 
The Abyssinians (Jamaica)
The Abyssinians are a Jamaican roots reggae group, famous for their close harmonies and promotion of the Rastafari movement in their lyrics. The vocal trio was originally formed in 1969.
