Hit The Road - Jamaica
Wednesday September 26, 2012 from 21.15 in BNN (TV)

BNN will broadcast a new TV- programme 'Hit the Road' in September 2012. Michelle (Black Star Foundation) went to Kingston (Jamaica) together with a Dutch filmcrew, Chris Zegers (Dutch presenter) and Tim Knol (Dutch singer/songwriter)!

Tim Knol meets his Jamaican backingband Unit3 at Hellshire Beach. Band leader Carron McGibbon shows him around Kingston and brings him to Alpha Boys School for a meeting with Sparrow Martin and to Tuff Gong Studios to record a reggae version of Tim Knol's tune 'Sam'.

Chris and Tim visit a dancehall party (Weddy Weddy by Stone Love Soundsystem) and Tim goes to buy records at Techniques in downtown Kingston. Carron also sets up a meeting with the legendary Toots Hibbert!
