Black Star Tour 2018 (January 2018)
To celebrate the 15th Anniversary of Black Star Foundation in 2018, Black Star Sound went on tour this summer season. Black Star Sound brought the European audience a special DJ-set with strictly Black Star productions and dub plates, combined with live artists!
Live artists in the package were some of the artists Black Star recorded an album with:
- Asher-E (on melodica)
Asher-E is an allround reggae musician, sound engineer and producer. His home studio is filled with musical instruments, like keyboards, guitars, drums and a lot of different percussion instruments. His favorite instrument is the melodica.
The album ’Black Star Melodies' is a solo-album by Black Star producer Asher-E on melodica. Almost all instruments are played by Asher-E, except for 3 guest musicians on the album (violin, percussion and guitar).

- Leah Rosier
Leah Rosier from Amsterdam (Holland) has been singing and playing guitar and piano since an early age. As a teenager she travelled the world as a professional fashion model. A photoshoot in Jamaica made her fall even more in love with Jamaican music and culture.
On her third album 'The Black Star Tracks’ the female artist shows a more mature side of herself, both musically as lyrically. All vocals and backing vocals are done by Leah herself and she plays guitar on ‘Smile Vibe High’. The album contains 11 tracks, including 1 dub version.

- Exile Di Brave
Exile Di Brave is a young Jamaican reggae artist, born in Portmore (near Kingston). In 1999 he started to rap as the hip hop genre took a big step in Jamaican culture. Nowadays he is touring Europe. In 2015 he performed at Reggae Geel (Belgium) and Rototom Sunsplash (Spain). In 2017 Exile Di Brave came to Europe for different shows in Germany and holland, including the album release for ‘Exile Di Brave meets Black Star’ (Holland). He recently moved to Germany.
The album contains 6 very versatile tracks, from ska to reggae, dancehall and dub.

- Vivian Jones
Vivian Jones is a sophisticated singer with a warm and soulful voice. The very talented Jamaican singer lives in London and he has been charting big in the English charts for more than two decades now. Vivian Jones records mainly in England, although he regularly goes to Jamaica to work with the island's top producers.
The reggae veteran Mr. Vivian Jones released an album in cooperation with Black Star Foundation. The album holds 10 tracks, including 2 extended dub-versions.

Brainpower is the only Dutch Hip Hop artist who has sold over 200.000 records, CD’s and DVD’s. A true artist who has been at the top of Dutch Hip Hop for more than a decade. And he also does reggae!
Dutch rapper Brainpower and Black Star Foundation released the reggae album ‘Dub & Dwars’ with Brainpower’s best hip hop tunes on reggae riddims by Black Star! The CD contains reggae versions of 6 Brainpower classics plus the brand new title track 'Dub & Dwars’. Almost all tunes contain an extended dub-version.
