This year, Black Star Sound will play at Inner City Dub, a Roots, Dub, Reggae session held each and every Monday in Kingston, Jamaica. Inner City Dub creates a space for healing, renewal and enlightening entertainment. It's the revolutionizing of the musical mindscape of the ghetto.

The weekly reggae and dub session is organized by I-Nation, a social entrepreneur, traveling book seller and one of the intellectual inspirators of the Reggae Revival Movement.

Expect a stack of speakers, local Rastafarians and a couple of tourists, a bar, ital food and books for sale. The event was held downtown Kingston in Tivoli Gardens, right next to the terrain where the legendary Passa Passa dances were organised until 2010, bringing thousands of Jamaicans and foreigners to Tivoli to party. Since then, Inner City Dub has been the first regular event to bring back partygoers from yard and abroad back to West Kingston. Recently the Inner City Dub sessions moved to The Ark (African Roots & Kulcha Center) op Cargill Avenue in Kingston.
