New releases on Black Star label (August 2017)

With the upcoming 15th Anniversary of Black Star Foundation (Sunday 15 April 2018 in Melkweg, Amsterdam), we will release a few new CDs on our Black Star label these coming months.

The last years we recorded many productions with ASHER-E (Deventer, Holland) and with the FIREHOUSE CREW and sound engineer TIXIE (Kingston, Jamaica). We have so much material so we think it is time to release some new albums:

• 'Exile Di Brave meets Black Star' - EP by EXILE DI BRAVE (Jamaica)
  6 tracks (5 tunes + 1 dub), riddims by ASHER-E and FIREHOUSE CREW for Black Star Foundation. Released: Friday 25 Aug. 2017. Available on all other digital platforms, as well as in limited edition CD.
• 'World of Righteousness' - Riddim CD
  New Black Star riddim with tunes by ANTHONY B, LUCIANO, MIKEY GENERAL, JAHBAR I (Jamaica), MARLON ASHER (Trinidad), RAPHA PICO, LEAH ROSIER, BRAINPOWER, ROBINA and ASHER-E (Holland). Riddim by ASHER-E, whereby some versions are mixed by TIXIE (Jamaica). Release date: 17 November 2017
• 'The Black Star Tracks' - Album by LEAH ROSIER (Holland)
  New album by LEAH ROSIER with 11 tracks (10 tunes + 1 dub). Riddims by ASHER-E and FIREHOUSE CREW for Black Star Foundation. Release date: 17 November 2017
• 'Black Star Melodies' - EP by ASHER-E (Holland)
  Black Star producer ASHER-E on melodica in dub. Solo-album: all instruments are played by ASHER-E! The CD contains 8 tracks with some voice samples by EXILE DI BRAVE, MARLON ASHER and VIVIAN JONES.
• EP / album by MR. AYA (France)
  New album by MR. AYA. All riddims by ASHER-E and FIREHOUSE CREW for Black Star Foundation.

The first release took place on August 25 2017: 'Exile Di Brave meets Black Star'. That day, EXILE DI BRAVE presented his album in recordstore Concerto (Amsterdam), followed by a performance with TwoRoots band at Reggaebomb (Utrecht).
