Vinyl Thursdays in Amsterdam! (2018-2019)
Vinyl Thursdays event in Kingston (Jamaica) also came to Amsterdam (Holland)!
The concept of Vinyl Thursdays is the same as in Jamaica: every edition (on Thursdays ofcourse) there are different DJ's who play strictly vinyl! Besides the selectors, there is time for singers and toasters during the open mic. And everything will be streamed live!

In 2018 Black Star Sound organized Vinyl Thursdays Amsterdam in Hill Street Blues Cafe in the innercity of Amsterdam. Vinyl Thursdays took place every forst Thursday of the month. Unfortunately Hill Street Blues Cafe cancelled all their events due to noise problems from September 2018. Therefor Vinyl Thursdays Amsterdam moved to a new location: Hunter's Grand Cafe (Reguliersdwarsstraat 44, Amsterdam). In 2019 we played there every second Thursday of the month. In 2020 there were no Vinyl Thursday events.
In 2021 Vinyl Thursdays is present online! Black Star Sound organized a Vinyl Thursdays live stream from outta Amsterdam for the re-release of 'Til Shiloh by Buju Banton. Exile Di Brave is organizing Vinyl Thursdays live streams from outta Germany with different guest DJs!
